Integrated Healthcare: Why everyone should use a TEAM

Updated: Sep 16, 2022

A Team of Doctors

No matter how good a doctor is, one person cannot treat everything. Those that try to treat everything are spread so thin that it's nearly impossible to provide quality health care at an advanced level. As the saying goes, "A jack of all trades is a master of none." Instead of trying to treat all conditions with chiropractic alone, we have adopted the approach of integrated healthcare.

integrated [in-ti-grey-tid]

adjective - combining or coordinating separate elements so as to provide a harmonious, interrelated whole.

Using a Physical Therapist

Most people who walk through our door have musculoskeletal complaints: joint pain, muscle pain. Many times, Chiropractic is enough. However, there are frequently issues that deal with shoulders, knees, muscles, etc. that we realized can be better addressed by physical therapy. We frequently have co-managed patients with physical therapy over the years, and in 2020, to create an even more convenient offering for patients, we introduced in-house physical therapy led by Jesse Sampogna, DPT. See our posts about dry needling and fascial distortion to learn more about some of the strengths of physical therapy in your rehabilitation.

Co-managing with a Nurse Practitioner

On a daily basis, we see more than simply joint and muscle problems come into our clinic. We see patients who are struggling with fatigue, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and many more issues which affect overall health and well being. These conditions frequently require that we communicate and co-manage care with primary care and other medical providers. In June 2022, we officially welcomed Sparrow Integrated Health and Abby Rhoades, FNP-C (Nurse Practitioner) to our facility. Patients and non-patients now have access to convenient and affordable medical care under the same roof they receive chiropractic and physical therapy services.

Everything under one roof

We work well with local professionals, and if you have other providers you already trust, we will do our best to make health care as congruous as possible for you. But, how nice would it be to have all of your healthcare needs provided under one roof? That is what we can provide. Coming in for neck or back pain? That is our specialty. Injured your shoulder? Our physical therapist excels at that. Feeling off lately, not yourself, and can't figure out why? Abby Rhoades, FNP-C and Sparrow Integrated Health will help you get the answers and solutions you need.

We are happy to serve you whether it be with one provider, or several. As you take advantage of the multiple specialties within our walls, you will experience even further benefits from our convenient, integrated approach at Price Chiropractic and Rehabilitation.
